The Goldman Distinguished Professor of Cognitive Science and Linguistics at Cal, Lakoff uses his understanding of the brain to explain how Progressives can communicate their ideals and win elections. He’ll be talking about his new book THE POLITICAL MIND: Why You Can’t Understand 21st-Century American Politics with an 18th-Century Brain at the new Cody’s on Shattuck on June 14.
